How many photographers will be at my wedding?
All of our wedding packages include two photographers* for the duration of your event. Like Aerosmith said, we don’t want to miss a thing! Having two photographers provides the special couple with assurance that everything will get attention, the main event..down to the little details.
What is the price of your wedding packages?
We pride ourselves on being affordable for every couple. We like to meet up over coffee or lunch to talk about your budget and give you some general guidelines about our pricing strategy. The rule of thumb for us is this: If you value high quality photos and are willing to be transparent with us about what you can afford, we want to work with you! If you love our work, we will make it happen.
Is this a real photography business?
Yes, MASH Photography is a legitimate LLC, licensed and insured.
Are you available for travel?
Yes, we love to travel and capture wedding photography in new and exciting locations. We want you to find the venue that suits you best and we will be there! If it happens to be on a beach in Jamaica… we promise not to complain ;)
Do you offer a package with engagement and wedding photography?
Yes, we actually include a complimentary engagement session with every wedding package booking. We take full advantage of the opportunity to work with both of you before the wedding. This allows all parties to be more comfortable and relaxed on the day of the wedding, and you’ll have great imagery for your save-the-dates and wedding website.
How many images can I expect from my wedding package?
At MASH Photography we don’t put a number on success. This means we don’t limit our shooting, or our editing by what you’ve paid. We refuse to damper your day by removing or adding unnecessary fluff photos to your albums in order to meet predetermined quotas. We shoot as much as we can, and we give you the best of the best images to commemorate your union. If you choose to add longer periods of time or other special events (rehearsal dinner, brunch with bridesmaids etc..) to your photo package, you can expect to receive more high-quality images to match those important events.
When can I expect to receive my wedding album?
We like to guarantee a few sneak peaks within 48 hours of your wedding! As your reception concludes and you go to enjoy your honeymoon, we may post edited and enhanced images on social media and our websites in the weeks that follow. Our current turnaround time to receive full edited wedding day albums is between six to eight weeks. Engagement albums are typically 2-3 weeks. Please keep in mind that the seasonality of your wedding may also determine our backlog on wedding albums that need to be processed. Our editing process is designed to be thorough so we can present you with fully edited, print ready, high quality images that will last generations. Good things take time!
How do you deliver your images?
We deliver our images in an online album. You can download your entire album from there or individual favorites. Albums can be easily shared with family, friends, and to social media. Professional prints are also just a click away in your wedding album storefront.
How long do you keep our images up?
We have 5-Year Vault Storage at MASH Photography. We understand that life can and will happen… so we keep your images available for download online for 5 years. We keep your images on backup hard drives and keep them in the cloud. There is no additional charge for re-access your images…ever!
Can we print photos through you?
Yes, Mash Photography utilizes a professional print lab to create high quality and stunning photographs. A $25 print credit is included with all wedding packages.
Do you offer wedding albums?
Yes, We have many options to choose from. Make sure to mention your interest in an album and we will start curating it as we edit while you are on your honeymoon!
What are your goals as a photographer?
Easy, beautiful images that you will be proud to share. We also strive to be a part of the environment, not a task. We will work with you and your wedding planner to build in time to capture all of the moments that are important to you.
What does a typical wedding day look like?
On the day of the wedding one photographer will join the bride and her party, while the other will join the groom and his groomsmen. This insures we get the highest quality images and the special moments shared between friends before the “I do’s”. Both photographers are present and shooting for the duration of the ceremony.
After the ceremony we like to give the bride and the groom a few moments to themselves or with special family members. We standby and photograph those moments…raw, new, happy love between families. Once the moment has past, we whisk the couple away for their couple’s shoot…a special time to celebrate their commitment and their excitement for what’s to come. Depending on the venue and time constraints, once the couple’s shoot has concluded we take the formal, posed family and party portraits for the bride and groom to treasure in albums for years to come. We can shoot these portraits on site where the ceremony was performed, or wait until the reception and gather the necessary parties throughout the evening. We are not here to interrupt your moments, but capture them for you to remember. Our goal is to be a part of the environment, not a task.
During the reception your photographers are hard at work, staying out of the way of your celebration! We are busy bees photographing all of the dancing, eating, hugging, smiling, and of course, kissing. During this time we also might ask to borrow rings or any other small details that may have been missed in the shuffle of getting ready earlier that day. At the end of the night, we will stick around to capture any special send-off that you have planned.
